Brief
An engineering firm wanted to move its forty staff out of a business park and into a building that felt more like a school than an office.
Approach
We split the plan into three wings around three courtyards. Every desk is within six metres of a window, and the meeting rooms sit at the corners where the wings meet.
Materials
Board-marked concrete for the walls and soffits, sapele doors and frames, and gravel courtyards planted with hydrangea and birch.
